Towelie is a character in the popular adult animated series South Park. He first appeared in the fifth season episode titled “Towelie,” and quickly became a fan favorite due to his quirky personality and unique design. Towelie is an anthropomorphic light-blue towel with arms, legs, and a face. He wears tiny yellow shoes, and two thin white stripes can be seen at both ends of his towel body. He speaks in a high-pitched voice with a slight southern accent.

One of Towelie’s most distinctive features is his ability to provide advice on all things related to towels. He can make people as dry as necessary, depending on the situation. Towelie has a knack for appearing out of nowhere to give towel advice to the citizens of South Park. However, his primary vice is his addiction to marijuana, crystal meth, and crack cocaine. He has tried using heroin and inhaling computer duster in the past.

Despite his addiction, Towelie is a mild-mannered persona who exhibits sensitivity and kindness. He is often caring of others and saved the boys’ lives in his debut. He also constantly reminds people to use towels after getting wet to avoid catching a cold. Towelie’s love for his son was the driving force behind him getting clean.

Towelie has been sober since April 26, 2010, but there are hints in later episodes that he may have started using marijuana again. In the episode “Tegridy Farms,” he took a job at the Marsh family’s hemp farm, which implies that he may be using marijuana again. Towelie has been warned for getting high 14 times while working at Lake Tardicaca. His eyes become visibly bloodshot when he gets high.

Towelie’s addiction has been a recurring theme throughout the series. He can become rude and even aggressive when he is out of dope and money. On such occasions, he prostitutes himself to old men by providing oral sex in exchange for money to buy more drugs and get high again.

Towelie is a beloved character in the South Park universe. He may be a bit of a stoner, but he is also a caring and well-meaning individual who just happens to be a towel. Despite his flaws, fans of the show cannot help but love Towelie and his unique personality.
